Dolce Vita IT Solutions maintains for every customer an
up-to-date database of all systems, administration and security helpdesk
tickets. This database was implemented by Applied
Innovations Management and allows us to run reports on request to update
clients on the status of their helpdesk tickets in real-time. Even more
important is that the database is used to track failure costs. DVITS feels
strongly that from a strategic standpoint knowledge of where failure costs are
high allows us to recommend an approach which maintains focus on the correct
areas of the IT structure.
This approach also allows us to easily highlight areas which
have become chronic problems for clients. DVITS is frequently called in to
new clients who feel that they have serious problems with their IT
infrastructure, but are not sure what those problems are. By methodically
listing problem areas it is possible then to perform an analysis so that root
problem causes can be drawn out, and priorities assigned to root issues.
